Day 51

Day 51
October 28, 2015

Today turned out to be a wonderful day of riding and a fun day for Marilyn and me.   I left the picturesque town of Monticello, Florida around 8:00am this morning under clear skies and rode 65 miles to Live Oak, Florida where Marilyn and I were joined by our great friends, Scott and Melissa Elliott.  We enjoyed lunch together then Scott rode with me for the afternoon leg while Marilyn and Melissa went on ahead to Lake City and set up the RV.  The afternoon was beautiful with a light breeze and pleasant temperatures.  Scott will ride with me the next two days to the Atlantic.  We were also privileged this evening to be joined by Edouard Lassegue of Compassion International who is a cyclist and will also be joining us for the final stretch of Water Cycle.

Tomorrow we will ride into Jacksonville where we will attend church at the Church of Eleven 22 with some of our Brevard Community Church family who have traveled down here to Jacksonville for the final day of Water Cycle.  On Friday we will ride the final stretch to the Atlantic Ocean.
